Most recent polls:  Football | Men's BB | Women's BB

1/11 The AP released its 1,000th men's basketball poll. However, due to issues found in researching these polls, as well as finding 'missing' football polls, the date for reaching this milestone might actually have occurred with an earlier poll.

11/25 Began expanding the polls for all 3 sports to show all teams receiving votes in the major polls.

11/8 The AP released its 1,000th football poll. By contrast, there have been 881 Coaches polls, 89 BCS Rankings, and 51 Harris polls.

10/31 Added a Non-BCS vs BCS 2000-09 page.

10/8 Added page showing Three Teams from the Same Conference in the Top 4.

9/16 I'm experimenting with adding game results to the football polls. Please bear with me as I adjust the layout and add more games (only a small percentage have been added so far). Thanks for your feedback regarding keeping/tossing the Harris Poll. Looks like it will stay...for now.

About This Site

This site was launched on September 1, 2007 after existing as the AP/BCS History section on SoonerStats.com from 2001 to 2007. It contains all weekly AP football polls from 1936 to present as well as all weekly BCS rankings from 1998 to present.

With the help of Lowell Greunke's book, and some very generous contributors, the AP polls in this archive are as complete and accurate as currently possible.

In July of 2008, the site expanded to include both men's and women's basketball polls. After many hours of research to resolve several issues, I also believe these polls to be as accurate as currently possible.
